Cabana Club Woven Collection

A first-of-a-kind modular stainless steel seating collection that incorporates the more traditional look of woven wicker. Cabana Club Woven Collection was designed for multiple-use areas at today’s luxury hotels and resorts. With outdoor spaces at resorts and luxury hotels are becoming more multiple-use areas where during the day guests lounge in the sun by the pool, or relax in the shade of private cabanas and then socialize during the evening in vibrant, outdoor nightclubs and casual, but elegant, alfresco dining areas. Being able to configure furniture to accommodate these different uses and environments is an important advantage.

Paradise on Earth - Nurai Resort

Zaya, a dynamic newly-formed Abu Dhabi-based real estate company has launched its first of many property ventures; Nurai, a spectacular private community of limited edition resort beach-front estates and water villas on a natural island off the coast of Abu Dhabi.

The design concept of the island stemmed from Zaya’s desire to provide residents with abundant pieces of land and ultimate privacy. Two strands of Water Villas extend into the ocean, and Nurai’s Beachfront Estates are integrated into the gently scoping landscape. A carpet of greenery unfolds across the island, with sweeping structures underneath to envelop residents in their own world of private luxury. Island feels untouched as majority of land is landscaped lush greenery as opposed to populated with buildings.

Smock Sofa by Patricia Urquiola

Smock is Patricia Urquiola’s project, who has an innate capacity to design objects with a strong connotation, which revolve around the upholstered families. Urquiola’s work is distinguished by the exploration of solids and voids, comfort and luxury. This sophisticated, elegant sofa uses a light, stylised design centred around the draping over the ring-shaped armrests. The unusual feature of a full-length zip is for removing the cover and for joining different materials. The two rings have become arms, the objective lightness is maintained and transmitted by the slightly foamed shell. small armchair stands on a slide or on a central tube.
