London-based designer Magnus Pettersen has created the Tint Lamp.
London-based designer Magnus Pettersen makes his debut at 100% Norway with the Tint lamp. “For the lamp I am mixing two materials which are mainly associated with architecture; glass and concrete,” explains Magnus. “Using black concrete and a warm coloured glass, transform the hard materials into an object which suits an interior environment.”
Remember the Terrariums that had A Pice of the Beach in them? Well now i found some other wonderful terrariums in which you can plant your own green stuff. Not just a wonderful design piece but also one of the best ways of bringing more plants into your home, which is a thing you should always have in mind.
Designed by Liz Boscacci for Bevara Design, these contemporary hand-blown terrariums were made in Poland: “They blow the glass into a mold, and turn it constantly so there is no seam, then the mouth is cut. If you look at the bottom of the piece, you can see where it was broken off of the bar. ”
The chandelier is an object that has a long and rich history.
Italian company Masiero has explored right in its own backyard and come up with this modern Murano lighting line.
The Utopik Design Lab have done it! They’ve taken our entire collected evolution of cup-making and holding of drink history and combined it into one cup. One cup to hold them all. This is “One Glass for Every Drink” and it’s made to work for everyone. It of course tends to the four main glass-specific types of drink: water, cognac, wine, and champagne. It uses the same head and a different base for each of these. Sounds lovely doesn’t it? Let’s have a sip or two and converse.
