After the first look a i took on this item, i was still confused… what is it? some new ultra-modern piece of decoration? does it have any functionality? When i finally found out what it is i was astonished! A Modern Laundry Basket to help you, me and all the people with kids and not only sort their dirty clothes by colors.

Not only it is really creative but the awesome design it has allows you to place it almost everywhere without the need to hide it anymore, as you used to do with your other dirty clothes basket.

The modern design is also extremely useful as when one is full it means you got load for a wash, it also does not allow clothes to fall out and thanks to the handles you can take it to the washing machine. You do not have to limit yourself at 3 baskets, get as many as you feel necessary and stick them to the wall, and the result will be a new and useful decoration piece.

Bau Pendant is a suspension lamp designed by Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt for Normann-Copenhagen.

The sculptural shape of the lamp is achieved by connecting many circular plywood pieces together. All these pieces are colored in different colors and have different sizes. Thanks to that and chaotic connections the lamp is a perfect decoration that could make any room look unusual and creative. It easily can become a centerpiece that will wake up people’s curiosity. Using neutral colors can also help to use a bold color that will not look good on its own. These bold colors are colors that you like but they still need to be balanced with other colors.

Neutral Colors in Depth

Black – black is a conservative color. It can be matched with almost any other color with the exception of very dark colors, like chocolate. Black can be used in a formal and serious way. It can be sophisticated, mysterious, or even sexy. When using black, be careful how you use it with other colors. You can use it with jewel tones or light colors. When you don’t have black, you can use dark brown, or charcoal gray instead.

Gray – this color is a conservative color that usually doesn’t trigger any emotions. It is a light shade of black but it doesn’t have the affect that black has on home decor. Gray is an easy color to coordinate with other colors. Gray blends in great with pastel colors like green, blue, lavender, or pink. Gray can also be added to a golden yellow or dark red.

White – this color is pure and clean. It can be used with almost any color to create a balanced look. White comes in many shades but a solid white color is bright and cheerful. White can be distracting as well if you don’t use enough balance between the other colors that you are matching white to. You can use white with pastel colors or light colors.

Brown – this is a natural color that is earth toned. You can also find this color in stone and wood. It is the color of nature. When you use brown and brown tones like beige, tan, and taupe, you can blend other colors that are rich or bright in order to tone them down a bit. Even though brown is a fall color it can be used anytime of the year in your decor. You can use brown with green, yellow, orange, purple, or red.

You can use neutral colors in area rugs when you are decorating your home. Brown rugs, gray rugs, or white rugs will blend in well with almost any look you are trying to create.

Braided area rugs are very durable and can be used in any type of room. They are beautiful over top of a wall to wall carpet, but they are thick enough to lay on a floor with no padding underneath. They protect floors from scratches as well as from dirt and debris tracked in on shoes. The braided rug is perfect in a child’s playroom to protect the floor from toys dropping to the floor and to protect pretty little heads from falls.

You will find that stains are hardly noticeable in braided area rugs also. The reversible braided rugs add a quick solution to stains as well. Easily matching almost any decor, braided area rugs are available in many newer colors and work well in any room. They are a sound investment in any home or office décor. Using earth tones will go beautifully with almost any furnishings and bolder colors seem to work well in children’s bedrooms or playrooms. The family room can likely use a heavy carpet on the floor to protect kids when they wrestle around with each other as it helps prevent injuries.

From earth tones to brighter pinks and purples, you can surely use one of these decorating gems around your house. You can be sure they will last many, many years with sturdy dependability. Braided area rugs can even be used outside on decks and patios. If you have at least some over head covering for your deck or patio, you can use a reversible braided area rug directly on the patio or deck. If hard rains do come, you will want to pick the braided area rug up and allow it to air dry. If it is left wet on a concrete floor with no way to breathe they will develop mold and mildew. The Native American version of southwestern decor has gained great popularity over the last 60 years. As more and more people traded their ideas of Native Americans from Hollywood versions to the genuine tribal cultures, decorators discovered the severe, stunning beauty of this decor. The clown-like dolls known as kachinas, the silhouette of the flute player Kokopelli, and the varied designs of pottery, hand-woven area rugs, wall hangings, sculpture and contemporary art all testify to the creative power of Southwestern tribal peoples.

When outfitting a home in Native American style, it’s crucial to be sure that the design elements are authentically made by Native American artisans, or manufactured under special grant from a tribal nation. U.S. federal law carries heavy fines for vendors who falsely market “Native American” products that weren’t created by a tribal member, in a pueblo or on a reservation. Genuine tribal products will be proudly labeled or presented as authentic, and a conscientious decorator will honor the handiwork of the artists who created them. In other words, a beautiful area rug in a geometric black, white and red pattern isn’t a “Navajo rug” unless made by a real Navajo!

Finally, Modern Southwestern is the style that most people associate with Southwestern decor. Santa Fe, New Mexico, is a major center of this style, but variations also have risen up in Phoenix, Arizona, and other parts of these two states. In addition to architectural elements such as adobe walls, ceramic floor tiles and exposed wood beams, Modern Southwestern takes its color palette from the desert, with shades of turquoise, pink, purple, tan, coral, brown and blue. In fact, the town of Sedona, Arizona, so fervently adheres to Southwestern style in all its building codes that the local McDonald’s Restaurant was required to change its famous golden arches to turquoise blue!

So whether its boots and saddles, hand-painted sinks for the bathroom or braided rugs patterned with red-hot chile peppers, Southwestern-style decor is bound to warm up anyone’s home.

This piece of furniture is not only interesting but it would also add a refreshing air to any space. The colors, the design and this wonderfull look is simply great for an outdoor yard, for a candy, icecream or sweets shop, for a fast food or even for a children space. The idea of Vostok is a combination of organic smooth geometry and USSR spaceships cosmic style.

In this way they pay tribute to the history and make ironic futurism style. Even tho Vostok is still in the project phase, it impressed me and i thought that my readers would be happy to see such an interesting bathroom design idea. Vostok won the 1st place at ROCA 2008 design competition (Russia).

The chinese influences, the warm colors and all those unique pieces of furniture mixed with expensive textile are the perfect choice for a romantic yet modern and wonderfull bedroom.
