Handmade Glass Table

The design of the handmade glass Bell tables by Classicon has a sort of topsy turvy appeal, using a lightweight transparent material for the base, and a solid, dense material up top.

Coniferous Collection

London-based design studio Joint Perspectives created Coniferous collection.

Shaped and inspired by conifer pine trees, the stools aim to not just mirror their models, but also reveal an array of different uses and personalities.

Mutation Series

Belgian designer Maarten De Ceulaer has created the Mutation Series.

The pieces in this series look like they weren’t made by hands, but have grown to their present form organically. They might be the result of a mutation in cells, or the result of a chemical or nuclear reaction. Perhaps it’s a virus or bacteria that has grown dramatically out of scale. The Mutation pieces make you look at furniture in a different way. Maybe one day we would be able to grow a piece of furniture like we breed or clone an animal, and manipulate it’s shape like a bonsai tree.

Morning Dew Sofa & Chair

Morning Dew sofa and chair by Bruehl are a romantic option for living room furniture. Its unique design resembles an awakening flower, petals stretching for early morning sun rays.

Visually interesting, the chair envelops you from all sides in support and style. Designed by Kati Meyer-Bruhl, Morning Dew won the Green Good Design Award in 2011, therefore not only making reference to nature, but respecting it in the process. I like that.

Chance – Backrest Chair

Saba Italia gets flirty with Chance – an exciting backrest chair. The round design of the chair, allows the backrest to wrap around and act as an armrest too – so the whole design flows into each other, serving all its functions.

Giselle Lounge Table

Russian designer Anna Neklesa under impression from the Russian ballet dancers has created the Giselle low lounge table.
